That sounds like a good plan. The bracing for that thing looks to be about like 14X14 pieces....

There are 10 sections, Each section was made in one piece so easy to glue.

BMRR, A picture is worth a thousand words. How about a picture?
I got a response from Walthers, They say the size is not out of scale. That there were many different sizes of Coal Gas storage tanks. The chose to model the largest. I think about half of this ones size would be more appropriate for N-Scale

Interesting response. It sure looks out of place due to its size...

Joe............... You've got a great looking layout. Wish mine looked that good. I disassembled my 4'x8' layout, and just started a new N scale 5'x12' Not much on it yet, but I'm working on it. BTW I have some of the same structures that you do.
Stan.

Joe the layout and your new web page look great! Bad answer from Walthers. It just goes to show how they care about us, the modelers.
Please, you and everyone else, feel free to post any pics you like directly here. We get the extra bandwidth so you can. Please feel free to use it.

Nice work! Stuff can get worked on and moved around in that yard! I have to say that the tank looks pretty good in those later shots too. Things have filled in enough that it just looks big now instead of over scale. I guess it just took the right perspective to get worked in properly.
