Here is a little more info on my Cab Forward Whimsy project. The loco is the Mantua 0-6-0T with a DZ125 decoder and oil tender from an older Bachmann 0-6-0. I got some parts for the cab from Yardbird Trains. I removed the two driver pickup and installed my own three driver pickups under the frame. All wheel pickups on the tender as I installed all metal wheels, courtesy of Harold M.
It runs very well. Still have a lot of details to take care of.

Original inspiration.

I just installed real glass from Clover House and put two crewmen inside.

The below site was my first inspiration for the Cab Forward. A oil fired, narrow gauge, Cab Forward 4-4-0.
